Definitions Company – Cool Holidays Travel ehf (reg. no. 680125-0150), Icelandic Day-Tour Licence 2025-036.

Client – the person or group making the booking.

Tour – any transfer or excursion offered by Cool Holidays Travel ehf.

2.

Prices & Currency

All prices are in ISK. Exchange rates from Íslandsbanki on the payment date apply. Card issuer fees may occur.

3.

Payments

- Full payment is required at the time of booking.

- Refunds are always processed to the same payment card used at booking.      Processing time depends on your bank and the payment provider (up to 5–10 business days).

- Unpaid bookings are automatically cancelled.

4.

Complimentary Airport Transfer

Bookings of all day tours in one order include free pick-up & drop-off at Keflavík (KEF) airport.

Cancellation by Client

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the start of the tour → 100% refund.

 

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour start time → non-refundable.

​

No-shows are non-refundable.

6.

Cancellation / Changes by Company

Cool Holidays Travel may alter or cancel a tour due to weather, road closures, or other force majeure. This includes volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, severe storms, strikes, or natural events. In such cases, an alternative date or full refund will be offered. No further liability is accepted.

7.

Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate information and be punctual.

​

Airport transfers: maximum 60 min waiting time after landing.

​

Reykjavík pick-ups: maximum 10 min waiting time.

​

Clients must follow guide instructions and respect Icelandic nature. Off-road driving is strictly prohibited.

8.

Insurance

Our vehicles and operations are covered by mandatory Icelandic insurance. We strongly recommend that all passengers obtain personal travel insurance. Cool Holidays Travel ehf is not responsible for costs related to missed flights, accommodation, or other travel arrangements due to delays or cancellations caused by weather or force majeure.

9.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. For other losses, liability is limited to the amount paid for the Tour. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

10.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Icelandic law. Consumers may also bring claims under the laws of their EEA country of residence.
